Mr. Joseph J Marino

Director of Operations

Mr. Marino brings over three decades of experience in all phases of construction management and general contracting to his present position. As Director of Operations, Mr. Marino works closely together with his staff on business development, company operations and interaction with the Customers. One of Mr. Marino's areas of responsibility is the daily interaction with his departmental supervisors, professionals and subcontractors. They are responsible for keeping Mr. Marino informed of the daily progress of each project to which they have been assigned in order to assure that the projects are progressing on time and within budget. Mr. Untoria and Mr. Marino meet daily so that they can better coordinate for the next day and assist field personnel where required to better keep projects moving forward as smoothly towards completion.

Education:
Mr. Marino is a graduate of Monmouth College with a degree in Business Management, put himself through school as a union carpenter and continued in the industry upon graduation. He is also a licensed NJ Realtor and member of IOREBA.

The following are some of the past projects in which Mr. Marino has been involved:

Bridgewater Promenade Mall, Bridgewater, NJ
Senior Project Manager responsible for development and construction of a 750,000 s.f. shopping center on a Brownfield site. He coordinated permitting and construction activities of on-site and complex off-site improvements, thus navigating through numerous state, county and local government agencies.

Broad Street Bank Building, 744 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey
Consultant for owner, responsible for creating budgets, controlling budgetary design compliance and implementing base building improvements to a 725,000 s.f. landmark office building.

Merck Company, Whitehouse, New Jersey
Project Manager assigned to construct a one million s.f. world headquarters facility for a major international pharmaceutical company. Scope included coordinating extensive mandated site preservations and large scale reinforced concrete construction. Responsibilities included schedule compliance and coordination of on-site staff and vendors, who successfully completed placement of over 100,000 c.y. of concrete required for the building while maintaining an excellent production and safety record.
